‘Mel, the Photographer’ or ‘Mel, the photo lady!’ is ​what I’ve been known as by the children and staff in ​schools for the last 15 years! When I started my own ​business I instantly knew what the company name was ​going to be!

I am passionate about my work and have met lots of ​amazing and inspiring people of the years. It’s such ​a privilege to be able to capture memories for ​families and I am so grateful for the opportunity to ​do this.

One of the main things I wanted to achieve with my ​own business was to still be the person behind the ​camera, visiting establishments myself and working to ​a high standard that I am proud of. I also wanted to ​provide amazing value for money, where quality is not ​compromised.

School photos should not cost a fortune!

My first and main job is being a mum, and starting ​TPL has enabled me to achieve a work / life balance ​that I’d always dreamed of!
